What should I do if I get an expired session?

How do I update my profile?


To update your profile:

  1. Sign in into the site using your username and password.
  2. Click on the "Update Profile" at the left menu.
  3. To update your hobbies and interests, if you are on the mobile version of the site, click on the link ' Hobbies & interests ' in the left menu, after opening the menu ' My profile '.
  4. If you are on the Desktop version of the site, click on this link ' Hobbies & interest ' to modify them.

How do I change my e-mail or password?


To change your e-mail or password:

  1. Sign in into the site using your username and password.
  2. Click on the "Update Profile" at the left menu.
  3. Change email or password and click on the "save settings" button at the top of page.

How do I change my Username?


You cannot change your UserName. If you wish to change your Username, please terminate your existing profile and sign-up with a new one.

How do I delete my profile?


To terminate your profile:

  1. Sign in into the site using your username and password.
  2. Click on the "Update Profile" at the left menu.
  3. Click the "Delete my profile" button located in the bottom of page.

How do I upload my profile photo?


To upload your photos:

  1. Sign in into the site using your username and password.
  2. Click on the "Upload/Edit Photo" at the left menu.
  3. Click the Browse button.
  4. Locate the photo that you wish to upload from your computer.
  5. We advise you to add at least 3 photos.
Note: Photo files must not exceed 15Mb and must be in JPEG format. Your photo must be at least 500 pixels wide x 500 pixels high. For best results use a photo that is at least 650 pixels wide x 650 pixels high.

We have certain requirements to the photos you submit:

  • It must be YOUR photo - no pets, cars, houses, celebrities, cartoons etc.

  • You must be alone in the photo - no other recognizable people.

  • Your face must be recognizable in the photo - no photos of body parts or face parts.

  • No obscene or vulgar photos in profile.

  • No visible contact information.

All other photos are acceptable. You will have the best results if you are dressed smart-casual or formal: a collared shirt and trousers for men, dress or evening gown for women. Your friendly smile will make your photo a winner!

Private Photos


You can add 20 private photos.

To do this, go to the "Private photos" section, accessible from the menu on the left of all pages.

To grant private photo permission from a user, visit their profile and click on the “Share Private Photos” link under the “Messages” button.

    Photos can include:

  • Photos must include yourself.

  • Partially blurred or masked photos.

  • Photo of body without your face.

  • Couple photos, only if you’re present in the photo.

  • Houses, Cars, Yachts are allowed if you’re present in the photo.

  • Lingerie, underwear and bikini photos.

How do I delete my photo?


You can delete your photos at Upload/Edit Photo page.

You can't delete your primary photo, but you can replace it with a new one.

What is "My Favorites"?


You can add a member to "My Favorites" to find him/her profile easily. Click "Add to favorites" to add the member to your favorites list. To check your favorites list, go to Favorites List.

What is "Block List"?


Block all messages from the member you don’t want to receive any messages from.
To unblock, go to Block List and check the profile you wish to unblock and click Unblock.

What is Wink?


Wink to another members! The Wink function is a way to let other member know that you are interested in them, or that you are interested in finding out more about them. You can choose from predefined messages.

How do I view my own profile?


To view your profile:

  1. Sign in into the site using your username and password.
  2. Click on the "View my profile" at the left menu.


Premium members


  1. Premium members have access to all the features of the French-Union site.
  2. Send unlimited messages to ALL our members
  3. Communicate with members via e-mail, messaging and webcam, Whatsapp and Skype!
  4. Access the personal contact details of the members, with email and direct telephone number (you have the contact details of the registrants at the bottom of each profile)
  5. Premium members are placed in the TOP position.
  6. The price is indicated on the subscription page.
  7. Subscription management is done from your account, on the 'My account' page, accessible at the bottom of the Update profile page in the left menu.
  8. The unsubscribe function is visible when your premium account is activated. If you are a free member, the function is not visible. To unsubscribe, you must click on Cancel membership link.
  9. You can directly access the unsubscribe page from this link.




How are profiles verified?


    Profiles are verified by our team.

    1 - We ask for an ID, members must photograph themselves with their passport next to their face.


    2-We ask members to photograph themselves with a paper in hand, where they will have previously written the name of the site

    And a few other steps that we prefer not to divulge.
    Unverified profiles are not online.

As rigorous as our background checks and verification may be, French Union Dating cannot give a 100% guaranty of the information obtained as the review is based upon the reliance of data from third party sources and the reliance upon information provided by the individual applying for membership or already is a new member when the checks and verification are being performed.

Falsified information may result in immediate termination of membership and may result in being permanently banned from use of our website and services.







    We remind you that you must be very vigilant if a member asks you for a sum of money, for various reasons (to buy a plane ticket and come to see you, pay for a visa, a passport, a sick person in her care, her telephone is cut , he has to pay the bill right away, for translations fees…).

    We check the profiles posted on French-Union as best we can, but scam attempts can happen. These are isolated cases.

    If you do not receive alerts in your mailbox:

    Some email company send emails to spam or junk, which is why you should regularly check this folder.

    If you find messages from French-Union in this folder, mark them as "not spam" to receive them correctly from now on.

    Also check that the alerts are checked in the "Manage my email alerts" section.
